The articles I chose to read were Urban Archaeologies: Embodied Viewership in Recent Media Art. In this article, Robin Clark introduces three artists and their work. Julien Isaac’s “Baltimore.” Buckingham Matthew’s Traffic Report. The Iron City by Ritchie Matthew. For the three artists, the main concern was to highlight the subjective experience of the audience. The works presented by them are not films in the traditional sense, and the audience can only passively accept them. Their works without exception make the viewer become a part of the works. For example, when Julien chooses to reorganize images in her work, she does not provide a single result for the whole project. Instead, you choose to be a participant in the project with your audience.

These three artists share a common characteristic with some of our current projects, which emphasize the immersive experience and interactivity of the audience. Although our research direction and goal are different, the same thing is that we cannot give the final result to the user. What we can do is to provide a platform for the user to interact with the product and give feedback to us. In the field of interaction design, user experience and terminal operation are very important and indispensable. For a smartphone application, user feedback and reviews are far more important and meaningful than visual elements and usage.
