Blog 07: PechaKucha

On April 12th, I held the first presentation of Pechakucha. The presentation was very smooth on the whole, but there were still some mistakes or things worth improving.
First of all, my presentation was very fluent, with almost no jamming or pauses, and I did it with only cards, which I found very challenging. In addition, the pictures I chose to show seemed beautiful and appropriate to me. I did the basics, so I think the presentation was effective.
However, there were some areas in my presentation that I lacked consideration for. For example, I was thinking too far ahead of the time, so I missed the important research process. Instead of thinking about future work, I should have explored why I chose this topic. It’s another way of saying that I haven’t prepared enough, that I haven’t really figured out what I want to show. In fact, it is necessary to study the process and think about the origin. Therefore, at the beginning of future projects, I should be more clear about my thoughts and ideas, rather than rushing to pursue results.
